Trust Resistance

For me a core of what we are exploring is remembering to TRUST RESISTANCE. Resistance is not laziness nor is it self sabotage.  It is the great wisdom of life saying that it is time to deepen our listening.  We are so good at pushing the river which actually feeds our resistant one.  Rather than always trying to ‘get it right’ we can begin to realize we are being awakened by life and life knows the timing for our healing – the timing of when to meet something and when to ask for help – the timing of when to say ‘no’ or to say ‘yes’ and stay in conscious connection with ourselves.
We could boil it all down to “Right now, this is life, and rather than resisting it, I choose to be with it” – to be curious and not force the process.

  1. I had a huge “aha!” moment this week when I realized that I censure myself ALL THE TIME because I’m afraid that I won’t “get it right.” I am stepping out and opening my mouth even when I’m not sure if it’s right. Thanks, Mary, for this reinforcement here with your message that (in NO coincidence) is just what I needed to hear.
